While trucking and transportation were deemed essential during the pandemic, the industry was still impacted. One of the affected areas was in-person networking, pushing organizations to either transition to online platforms or completely postponing/canceling their events. With social distancing and safety best practices in place, as well as the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine, we are beginning to see some progress towards regaining some sense of “normalcy.” While some of the annual events will continue to be held online, some organizations are hopeful that they will be able to safely host in-person networking events this year.
