President and Chief Executive Officer
In 1987, Mr. Jackson began his professional career in transportation with Yellow Freight. From 1988 to 1991, he was employed by Star Leasing Company as a Sales Representative and rose to the position of Sales Manager. From November, 1991 to November, 1994, Mr. Jackson was employed by Penske Truck Leasing as a Lease Sales Representative. In December 1994, he returned to Star Leasing as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In 1998, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing; and then to Executive Vice President and COO in 2004. Most recently he was promoted to President to reflect his leadership role in Star and the results that he has been able to achieve. Mr. Jackson graduated from Ohio University in 1985 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Communications. Mr. Jackson is also a member of Star Leasing’s Board of Directors.
|Jeffrey H. Rosen|
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
From 1977 to 1980, Mr. Rosen was an auditor and consultant for Price Waterhouse & Co. From 1980 to 1982, he was the Account Manager for Smoot Construction. In 1982, Mr. Rosen founded Software One, a computer programming and consulting firm. He joined Star Leasing Company as a Computer Programmer in 1998 and became Controller in 1999. Mr. Rosen holds a degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Bowling Green State University, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Capital University. He passed the CPA examination in 1978.
|Jeffrey D. Egle|
Vice President of Major Accounts
Mr. Egle has been with Star Leasing Company since February of 1998 when he joined us as the Branch Manager of Indianapolis. He was promoted to the position of General Manager of our Indianapolis Branch in 2004. Before joining Star Leasing Company, Mr. Egle was with Penske Truck Leasing in Toledo for four years working with their major accounts and training sales personnel. Mr. Egle learned the trailer leasing business with Rollins where he worked in a variety of positions. His success in building the Indianapolis Branch and his experience in the industry provides Star Leasing Company with a proven leader to support our current and future locations. He is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Marketing and Advertising.
|James H. Goodwin|
Mr. Goodwin has been an employee at Star Leasing Company since May 1998. He was hired into Star Leasing as the Operations Manager of the Indianapolis Branch. He was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager in October 2001, to Branch Manager in October 2002, to Regional Vice President in November 2007, and then to Vice President in 2015. Before joining Star, Mr. Goodwin was with Penske Truck Leasing as the Branch Rental Manager of the Lansing Michigan location. Previous to Penske, Mr. Goodwin attended Oakland Community College before entering into the insurance field as a Property & Casualty, Life & Health Agent. He studied to become a Certified Property & Casualty Underwriter while working as an Independent Insurance Agent where he gained vast business, sales, and team building strengths.
|Robert D. Beaver|
Mr. Beaver has been in the transportation industry since 1987 when he started as a management trainee for Roadway Express, Inc. He was promoted to and held the position of Sales Representative from 1990 to 1995. Mr. Beaver joined Star Leasing Company in 1995 as a Sales Representative. He was promoted to Branch Manager in 1999 at the Columbus, Ohio location; to Regional Vice President in November 2007, and then to Vice President in 2015. Mr. Beaver graduated from Alderson-Broaddus College with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration/Management in 1984.
|Linda S. Tulley|
Vice President of Finance
From 1984 to 1985, Ms. Tulley was in management training and various management positions with L.S. Ayers. From 1986 to 1988, she was Budget Analyst for the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services. In 1988, Ms. Tulley joined Star Leasing as Accountant where she managed all aspects of the internal accounting and back office operations of Star Leasing. In 1991, she was promoted to Controller. Ms. Tulley was promoted to Vice President of Finance in 1993. Ms. Tulley graduated from Wittenberg University in 1984 with a Bachelors of Arts in Accounting. She has also completed three semesters of course work at Capital Law School.
