How long have you been working at Star? What’s your favorite part of the job?
I’ve been at Star for 19 years. My favorite part of the job is working on big wrecks!

Who inspires you?
My mom and my wife. They’re incredibly strong and smart.

What is something people may not know about you? Do you have a secret talent?
I love to sing gospel.

What is your favorite TV show? Who’s your favorite character and why?
My favorite TV show is Blue Bloods. My favorite character is Tom Selleck, he does all he can for his police force.

Do you have a favorite movie line/quote?
Get busy living, or get busy dying.” –Shawshank Redemption.

What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy woodworking, fishing and camping.

How are you ensuring work safety?
Thinking before I act.

What are three words you would use to describe Star?
Solid, challenging, steady.

What is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
Germany. I loved having the opportunity to learn about other cultures and enjoyed tasting the different beers!

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Steak, a baked potato and salad.

What music genre do you like to listen to?
I like to listen to soft rock.

How do you define success?
Success isn’t defined by how much you have, but by how much you’ve touched others’ lives.

If given a chance, who would you want to be for a day?
I’m happy with being me! I would just want to be a better Christian every day.

Dog or cat person?
Dog. My dog’s name is Boo and is an 11-year-old miniature dachshund.

Favorite tradition?
Christmas.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would like to learn how to play guitar.
