How do you ensure workplace safety?
Safety at work is a core responsibility for each and every employee. It starts with taking personal responsibility by wearing all appropriate PPE gear, understanding safe work practices, and keeping those practices top of mind each day.

South Park is my favorite show—a definite must-watch. Randy Marsh is my favorite character—I love seeing the way he handles some of the major issues of the day and he is just plain funny.
What’s your favorite book?
My favorite all-time novel is “A Prayer for Owen Meany.” It has been a while since I have read it… but the overarching theme of the novel is that every action and practice you have today will prepare you for something bigger down the road. It had a deep impact on the younger version of myself.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I spend most of my free time swimming laps for exercise. I also enjoy hiking and kayaking in the various parks and streams around the Louisville area. With that said, my weekends are generally dedicated to cooking, gardening or doing yard work.
What is something people may not know about you?
Ever since becoming a homeowner, I have become fairly handy at home improvement projects. I’m actually pretty impressed at how good I have gotten at gutting a space down to the studs and completely renovating it.

Failing to make an impact.

I enjoy being home with my family and working around the house.

Don’t judge me—my Dad took me to a New Kids on the Block concert when I was about seven years old and it was at my request. My taste has most definitely evolved since then.
What music genre(s) do you like to listen to?
If you could be a TV show character, who would you be and why?
I’m going to go back a decade because it seems like everything I watch has an anti-hero as the main character recently… If I were a TV show character it would be Seth Bullock from the HBO series, “Deadwood.” The character was cool under pressure and seemed to be the personification of “lawful good.”
