Meet Mike Calhoun Star Leasing Company Owner / Operations Manager Cincinnati, OH
Mike has been a member of the Star Leasing Company team since August 2003. Mike is our Operations Manager and is a two time “Employee of the Year” in Cincinnati. Mike is always greeting our customers with the best customer service and a smile on his face. Our customers love Mike’s strong work ethic, customer oriented nature, and his positive “can do” attitude. He is always willing to do whatever is needed to get our customers taken care of whether it comes to the trailers they need, or service to keep their equipment going down the road. Many of Cincinnati’s customers have mentioned Mike by name when it comes to the great service they have become accustom to.
Meet Ray Ford Star Leasing Company Owner / Mechanic Talladega, AL
Ray Ford, known to most as “Little Ray” based on his 5’ 2” height began his career with Star Talladega in August of 2011. Ray came to Star with over 20 years maintenance and management experience with Schwerman Trucking Company. Star is very fortunate that Schwerman closed operations in our area because Ray is very dedicated to his employers. He is now dedicated to Star Leasing Company and his positive attitude, work ethic, quality of work and high productivity are reflected in his daily actions. In the short time he has been with Star Leasing Company Ray has grown into one of our most dependable and valued associates. He is a true reflection of our company principles.
Meet Paul Schum Star Leasing Company Owner / Service Truck Mechanic Dayton, OH
Paul has been a valued employee of the Dayton Star Leasing team since September of 2010. Paul’s primary role with our Dayton location is as our 1st Shift Mobile Service truck mechanic. Paul also fills in around our shop and is our primary back up Supervisor when needed. He’s always available when something is needed to be done. In 2012, Paul was awarded the Dayton Branch Employee of the Year and was also awarded the Company Employee of the Year. His ability to go above and beyond for our customers and our company is second to none and he’s always willing to do what it is needed to keep our customers on the road.
Meet Dan LeMon Star Leasing Company Owner / Operations Manager Atlanta, GA
Dan has been a Star Leasing owner since October 2008 and was voted by his peers as the 2012 Employee of the Year in Atlanta, GA. As Operations Manager, Dan is responsible for the daily operations at two Atlanta locations - south side in Ellenwood, GA. and the north side in Doraville, GA. Part of Dan’s other talents are overseeing all of the safety and HR duties for both locations in Atlanta and dispatching the two city drivers for local customer pick-ups and deliveries. Having been in the transportation industry for 13+ years, Dan has expertise in logistics and supply chain management which helps provide more than just trailer services for our customers and prospects.
Meet Rodney Culver Star Leasing Company Owner / Mobile Service Truck Technician Cleveland, OH
Rodney has been a member of the Star Leasing Company team since September 2010. Rodney is a mobile service truck technician with 20 years of experience and is a certified “Class A” technician. Rodney’s knowledge allows him to fix any trailer quickly, accurately, and safely while ensuring customer satisfaction. Our customers enjoy Rodney’s overall rapport which includes a strong work ethic, customer oriented nature, positive attitude, and great organization skills. Rodney continually goes above and beyond in his duties for Star Leasing and their customers.
Meet Joyce Wallace Star Leasing Company Owner / Credit Administrator Columbus, OH
Joyce has been a member of the Star Leasing team since May 2008 and has recently been named the Administration Employee of the Year for 2012. As the Credit Administrator, Joyce’s responsibilities include maintaining the customer database, processing all customer credit applications, adhering to vendor application requirements, and assisting our prospective customers and branch personnel throughout the process of account establishment. Joyce’s thorough efficiency in data collection, by means of multiple manual and electronic sources, combined with her ability to multi-task daily, is a valued asset within the Star Leasing team.
