Meet Some of the Owners

Paul has been a member of the Star Leasing Company team since January 2008. Paul is a mechanic in our shop and mobile truck department and is a class “A” mechanic. Paul has been able to fix any trailer on the road and never fails to get our customers going. Paul was awarded the Cincinnati branch Employee of the Year, and the Company Employee of the Year in 2011. Our customers love Paul’s strong work ethic, customer oriented nature, and his positive attitude. Paul is always willing to do whatever is needed to get our customers back on the road day or night, and they appreciate the excellent customer service he provides.

William has been a part of our Alabama team since 2006. His nearly 20 years of trailer leasing, rental and maintenance experience makes William a valuable member of our Star Leasing Company team in Alabama. Due to his many contributions William was chosen as the Talladega Branch Employee of the Year in 2011. Always willing to go the extra mile to provide impeccable service for our customers makes William a valued owner.

Dewitt, known to most of us as JR, has been a member of the Dayton team of Star Leasing Company since 2004 as our primary shuttle driver. In March of 2011, JR was promoted to Parts Controller, while at the same time keeping his driving duties. In the fall of 2011, JR was promoted to Operations Assistant/Parts Controller. JR’s commitment to safety, health & awareness, customer service and overall dedication to Star Leasing Company has helped him achieve the prestigious award of Dayton Branch Employee of the Year for an unprecedented 3 times!

Dan LeMon has been a member of the Star Leasing Company Team since 2008. Dan is currently the Mobile Maintenance Coordinator for the entire Atlanta, GA. region. Our customers appreciate Dan's great customer service, positive attitude and over the top communications.

Mark began his career at Star Leasing in 2002 as a service truck mechanic. There are qualities in Mark that can’t be matched. He takes immense pride in the cleanliness of his service truck and in his attitude he carries with him each and every day. Mark was named Indy’s Branch Safety Employee of the Year in 2010 and Indy Branch Employee of the Year in 2011. He continues to set the bar in his efforts on safety and wellness. He’s an avid sportsman who enjoys fishing, hunting, splitting wood and as most people don’t realize, he has a passion for snow skiing. Mark grew up in upstate New York and spent hours on the slopes as a kid. He continues to take a week each year in New York skiing and visiting family.

Tom joined Star in 2009. Tom is a class "A" mechanic and specializes in fabrication & body. He began his career in maintenance at the youthful age of 14. His family supported him in this business coming from an owner operator background. Tom’s last position before joining Star was with PJAX. He has over 22 years of experience in this field. Tom received the Columbus Branch Employee of the Year Award in 2011. The Branch can count on Tom every day for outstanding quality work.

Wendee started on April 1st 2008.. Wendee was a former customer of Star Leasing Company. She worked for Shaw Industries where she had the opportunity to meet and work with Star Leasing’s Account Managers and Service Truck Mechanics. It was through this relationship that she developed a great respect for Star Leasing and all that they stood for as a business and employer. Wendee has been in the transportation, safety and HR for about 19 yrs. and never had the pleasure of working with one company that done it all Rent, Lease, Repair, and Mobile Service so everyday there is an opportunity to learn something new. She started as the Assistant Operation Manager/ Safety Coordinator in 2008 and is currently the Mobile Service Truck Manager/HR/Safety and Wellness.

Shane has been with Star Leasing Company for eight years as a mechanic on one of our second shift mobile trucks. He is heavily involved in our safety program and makes our new employees aware of the importance of working safely and watching out for each other. Shane helps train some of our new service truck mechanics and does great at making them understand the responsibility level our mechanics need to achieve so our equipment is as safe as possible and our customers are satisfied. Some of our customers will call and ask for Shane specifically to make their needed repairs. Shane’s repair work has excellent quality.

Roxie started off as Receptionist with Star Leasing Company in 2008. She has since transitioned into the Lease Administrator role, processing all Lease Contracts for our sales staff, in addition to tracking and reporting all sales numbers. Roxie keeps a close eye on the leases and makes sure the proper amount of trailers is on each lease.
